Archana Bangera

*Artist Bio*
Archana Bangera is an Mumbai based Artist. A Homemaker and mother of two teenagers, she graduated as a lawyer but never practiced. She has always been inclined towards drawing & painting since childhood and was enrolled to local drawing classes Drishya School of Art during college days, where she participated in group exhibitions. After a long break of 12yrs of being busy as a Homemaker, she decided to start with her Art journey again.

*Artist Statement*
My body of artwork are mostly stilllife objects and urban landscape. I find beauty and i am fascinated with everyday mundane things, the places I visit and the people I meet. Each object , place & person have their own unique story to tell. I like to explore and capture the persona with my skills and present it to the world in a new creative way.
I dabble in all kinds of medium like charcoal, pen, acrylic & gouche but watercolor is my forte and most favourite medium of painting. I love the spontaneous & accidental flow character of this water based medium which transform my artwork into a virtual poetry.

Since Archana had no formal training in Art, she attended many workshops & Webinars conducted by Masterartists. She was fortunate to have met her teachers who have guided her through growth in Art. She has been mentored by Masterartists like Shri Sharad Tawde( Drawing, Painting & Composition), Prof, Vilas Tonape (Portrait & Abstract Art) and Vikrant Shitole ( Art Fundamentals & All About Watercolor
