Anna Kuznetsova

I am a Russian artist, based in Italy now, due to political situation.
As a starting point of my career I have graduated from British Higher School of Art and Design, and for years was mostly focused on illustration projects. After a while I started exploring illustration in a more monumental way, painting murals and canvases. In my works I live through my hidden feelings, transforming them into characters and details, that may have a variety of meanings. I am constantly reflecting on the things that I see and feel, and this is a never ending process of illustrating everything. I consider it as a reportage of life, just following the flow. I watch the world moving and illustrate this movement in my own way: in this period I am using embroidery as a part of painting, it gives a deeper feeling of a story, that I want to tell. In reality, each person has his own interpretation of each moment, so my works can be read differently by all the people, I am just illustrating the moment. It's up to you how to read it.
