Anna Godes

From the St Petersburg art school, her life still is linked to art. Living in France for 20 years, she often paints outdoors, mostly in France, Italy, Norway, and Finland. She practices academic painting of live models, portraits, and nature-mortes. Her artistic language is watercolor and gouache. Her curiosity leads her to experiment with mixed techniques and stained glass. She perceives every artwork like a story, full of meaning, sensitivity, vibration between tones and colors. She dares to hope that her artwork will make someone feel something as deep as what she felt during the artwork's creation.
