Sky Sharrock

Sky Sharrock is an artist and director of photography with a passion for cinematography and creative storytelling. He has worked on movies including; Harry Potter chamber of secrets, Iron Man 2, Terry Gilliam’s The Brothers Grimm and Dr Parnassus. He has won several awards for his commercial and promo cinematography ,also worked on TV productions including Bridgerton and Call the Midwife.

Sky took an art foundation course at Middlesex University before beginning a career in the film industry, and more recently studied Landscape gardening at the prestigious Capel Manor in London. As a creative person he has always been a keen photographer and image maker, and is particularly intrested in cynanotype printing.

Sky’s interest in cyanotype printing stems from his background in film as a cameraman. He has exhibited his cyanotype prints in ‘Natural Abstractions’ group exhibition at 99 Projects London in March 2023, and the Christie’s and The Auction Collective Arms Around the Child charity auction in November 2022.

Sky was Director of Photography of an underwater Octopus film for Plaid’s ‘Scintilli’ music video, which was shortlisted for the Saatchi & Saatchi Music Video showcase in Cannes in 2011. He was also DoP on ‘Anima’, a fash...
