Otto Muehlethaler

I was born in Switzerlands countryside near Bern. Starting with photography at twelve, I never stopt it until today. I traveled a lot between my twenty and forty years including the USA, Central America, Africa, Russia, Japan and Europe. Then living for ten years in Paris. Today I am seated between Bern and Vienna.

After school I made a crafts apprenticeship, then left home to see the world. As an autodidact in photography I documented my social environment and social movements in Bern. Meanwhile I started to portrait performance artists like dancers and musicians. When moving to Paris, I concentrated on my art photography and began to print large size c-print by hand.
