Anjali Bansal Purkayastha

Anjali is a self-taught artist based in London. She creates mixed media work focused on themes relating to human experiences and emotions such as love, hope or spirituality. Her art is characterised by intricate details, colour and a sense of movement that draws the viewer in. Most of her pieces feature patterns as visual language to add depth and meaning to the work.

Her Asian heritage is an integral part of her artistic identity. Through her art, she hopes to celebrate and showcase her heritage while exploring themes that resonate with audiences around the world.
