Maria Luchankina

For several years, my artistic and theoretical endeavors have been deeply intertwined with the exploration of onirism as an aesthetic category. My focus lies in elucidating how we can "depict" the ethereal visions of dreams through various mediums such as book-objects, prints, and performances.

However, what truly captivates me is the dream's ability to anchor us in the present moment, heightening our awareness of our surroundings and our place within the natural world. As someone deeply passionate about nature, I am constantly inspired by the delicate balance of life forms that inhabit our planet. From the fleeting flutter of a butterfly to the steadfast growth of a towering tree, each element of nature serves as a testament to the beauty and resilience of our environment.

In my explorations, whether through literature or leisurely walks amidst the great outdoors, I find myself attuned to the rhythms of life that pulse all around me. It is through this deep connection with nature that I am able to cultivate a profound sense of empathy and appreciation for the living beings that share our world.
