Christine Geier

Dr. Christine Geier is a German artist, biologist and photographer living in the Fichtel Mountains in Northern Bavaria. Her work is deeply inspired by wildlife, silence and the poetic language of nature.

Combining scientific observation with emotional depth, she creates watercolor paintings, botanical studies and mixed media works that explore the subtle connection between humans, animals and the natural world. Her art is shaped by stillness, intuition and a profound reverence for living beings.

Through delicate layers, organic textures and atmospheric compositions, her paintings invite the viewer into quiet spaces of reflection, memory and inner connection.

Dr. Christine Geier studied Biology and completed a PhD in Teacher Training with a focus on creativity and health education at the University of Bayreuth. Her scientific background continues to influence my artistic work, especially her close observation of nature, organic forms and the subtle connection between humans, animals and the natural world.

After many years working in education, creativity and coaching, she returned fully to art in 2015. Dr. Geier is largely self-taught as an artist and deepened her practice through workshops with international artists and continuous independent study.

Her work combines scientific precision with poetic intuition. Inspired by wildlife, botanical details, silence and spiritual connection to nature, she works in watercolor, oil, ink and mixed media. Through her paintings Christine Geier seeks to create quiet spaces that invite reflection, presence and a deeper appreciation for the living world.

Living in the Fichtel Mountains in Northern Bavaria, Germany, nature itself is an essential part of her creative process and artistic language.
