Artist Statement

I am an oil painter based in Israel and Belgium. Although my journey into painting began relatively late in my life, my realistic, neat style developed early on is currently evolving into a more raw and expressive approach.

My life as an artist began as a result of a deeply personal and emotional experience, and it is these personal experiences, emotions, and ideas that profoundly influence the core of my work. I draw on a mix of inspirations, incorporating landscapes, figures, still life, and symbols to narrate my stories and forge an emotional connection with the viewer.

While I continually strive to refine my artistic skills, technique should never overshadow the essence of creation, which is a journey of self-discovery and emotional connection with the viewer. It is a means to an end that weaves together ideas, originality, and emotions into a piece of art that resonates with the spectator, prompting reflection and feeling.

Ultimately, my artistic journey is a testament to my dedication to self-discovery and emotional connection with the viewer.
