Timothy Tyler

These paintings evolve between a series as I emphasis different expressive behavior patterns potentially for the vocabulary of forms that I have been using for sometime.
They are formal configurations, but also in how they structure precariousness appropriate to our anxiety as we try to hold together our fragile being in the face of constant change. The paintings act as intimate or claustrophobic traps, where we are continually suspended within our dilemmas and contingency.
They are suspended between the sensual, the uncanny, and the tragic.
