Laura Jayne Smith

I am UK artist based in Worcestershire and have always had a love of the natural world a creativity. Through my work in charcoal and watercolour, I like to capture the beauty and behaviour of UK wildlife and those from further afield. My realistic style showcases the colour, pattern and textures of different species. I like to mix the human and natural world to demonstrate and highlight our impact on the environment. I have been a finalist in national and international wildlife competitions and also exhibited locally and in London.

As a qualified teacher I use this to share my passion for art with others through workshops in watercolour and charcoal
