Kakha Vardiashvili

I was born in 1970. l studied at Tbilisi children's Art school, Toidze Art collage, Tbilisi cultural institute. I was mastering sculpture, wood slashing, painting, icon painting.
At last l went after icon painting and painting.
The icons created by my are sat in different churches.
Lilo St. Pahteleimon charch's leade father Kon-stantine Sekhniashvili is the person who has a great labor and who has made much kindness for me. The most part of my icons are sat exactly in this church.
The synthesis of real and unreal, reaching of conscious and subconscious, depicting the universe with my own look and interpretation is typical for art. Being eccentric and romantic, fascinated with legends, myths, historical occurrences. The outward appearances, colors of pictures are built on the internal mood and dramatic nature of the characters, which represent their own historic and human mission. Well-known legendary persons, acting centuries ago, are resurrected before our eyes with colors, here and there as though careless, rough, nourishing strokes and sometimes balanced admixture.
I am in constant creative investigation. I verify and realize my possibilities in the first place, that's why mostly l create for my own pleasure and not for others.
