Erynn Trewartha

Hi I'm Erynn, I'm 20 years of age, and am daughter of Lee Trewartha an amazing artist who is also exihibiting her work on this website too, and is my main inspiration. After living with Baroque inspired paintings around my home (produced by my mother,) I too grew a strong liking for the style. It became a part of my life..
I dedicated my entire year 12 folio to the study of Baroque architecture, painting and sculpture. I focused on the works of Carravaggio, Bernini and several of the works found in the ceilings of Churches such as the Geśu. I was also inspired by the "Sagrada Familia" or most commonly known as "Gaudi's Cathedral," which reflects several Baroque characteristics, particulary through it's dynamic appearance, where movement is the main element of the structure. Through this element, the Church looks as if it is growing from the ground, like a plant, towards the divine. :)

Ever since I was a little girl, I have always had an interest in the wonders of the sky, inside and outside our atmosphere. I am going to focus on the sublimity and the power of the weather, as well as the magnificence of the universe
