Willy Gabrielli

Willy Gabrielli was born in the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina in May 1959. He grew up in Villa Martelli, Vicente Lopez's Party, Province of Buenos Aires.

He started painting at the age of 11. His need to express himself led him to investigate in all branches of the arts. At the age of 17 he met in a music school a theater teacher named Juan Carlos Uviedo who based his work on the work of the poet and playwright Antonin Artaud. This is how he learned to use alchemy as a working method without having control over the result of his work.



He studied Screen Printing at the Flower Workshop. Scenography with teacher Gastón Breyer, attended the Manuel Belgrano Higher School of Artistic Education, in the City of Buenos Aires. Beyond this initial training, he continued to train in a self-taught way.
