Josh Bass

My work is a study of the intersection between human creativity and the incredible beauty of the natural world. Through my exploration of Glass and Steel, I aim to
convey a message of reverence for the ocean and its incredible biodiversity. Each piece crafted is
a love letter to the delicate intricacies of coral reefs, highlighting their stunning colors and
forms, and how they've influenced my work.
Undulating and flowing glass forms, with their gentle, familiar contours and soothing hues,
provide a comforting embrace for the senses. Soft, rounded shapes mimic the tender curves of
ocean organisms and evoke a sense of serenity. Transparency and gentle gradients of color
create a tranquil palette that envelops the observer in a warm, soothing embrace. Each piece is a
reminder of the simple beauty found in our oceans, and the gentle, calming effect the sea has
on all of us.
