My favourite place is Harris and the Outer Hebrides in general. I would like to spend more time there. Paul Strand did a book there and Gus Wylie worked there a lot over a long long time.
Walker Evans was the first photographer I connected to. I love the work of Gregory Crewdson.
I think my favourite song is Shipbuilding by Elvis Costello, I prefer Robert Wyatt singing but on the Costello version Chet Baker plays trumpet. Toss a coin.
I eat tomatoes most days.
I have a partner Gail and a son Marcus.
