Giuseppe Seminara is an Italian painter and multidisciplinary artist. His practice investigates the notion of absence, invisibility and the blurred threshold between human and artificial consciousness. Combining mixed media, rough textures, and gestural abstraction, he creates works that are both intimate and unsettling, exploring what remains when form, identity and language start to dissolve. His ongoing project “Cartografia dell’assenza” is a visual and conceptual map of these explorations, offering viewers a quiet but intense confrontation with the unseen.
Giuseppe Seminara studied painting under Maestro Angelo Bullo in Italy, developing a strong foundation in technique and expressive gesture. His formation continued through independent research, experimentation with mixed media, and engagement with contemporary art practices.

The project was initiated by an official invitation from the university to develop a critical research path on the role of the artist in the media and post-digital era. The seminar includes a main event on campus and a series of preparatory online meetings, engaging artists, critics, and European scholars. Planned publications will expand the ideas developed during the event, contributing to an international, interdisciplinary debate.
