Jerome Karsenti

Jérôme Karsenti (*1969), artist, painter, poet. Grew up in Nice, studied in Marseilles and Paris, earned a degree in architecture from the Ecole d'architecture de la Villette, Paris.
Has entirely dedicated himself to his painting and writing since 1997. Exhibitions in Paris, Gallerie « Impression » January-March 2002, Gallerie « Tsenka » July-July 2002-2003. Latest major exhibition "AND", Paris, September 2011, and « Shadow's Contract » in Berlin where he has been living since 2009.
Published in France by Derrière la salle de bains and Rue des promenades, (recently a novel « You cannot be serious, man » and a poetry book « Pupilles de fourmis »).

His research leads him to reflect on the idea of simplicity within the arts and architecture, following the idea of "less is more", the point at which concentration transforms into exuberance, architecture,...- converge through the prism of poetry.
