Basist Kumar

I was born in 1984 in India. I am a freelance artist, currently residing in Hangzhou, China for further studies. Formally studied as a painter and have been participating in art fair and exhibitions in India as well as abroad.
Working mostly around the idea of sublimity and bringing surreal images which bring unusual perspective to one's own self.

I finished my BFA from Delhi College of art (2007) and MFA from Visva-Bharati University (2009). Currently pursuing my studies in New-Media art at China Academy of Art, Hangzhou.
