Artist Statement
My work is an exploration of the structural and emotional parallels between maritime history and abstract expressionism. Having spent twenty-five years navigating the high seas as a Naval Aviator, I translate the raw power of the ocean, the precision of military engineering, and the profound solitude of the horizon into tactile, visual narratives. My "Art For Living" philosophy emphasizes that art should not merely be viewed but experienced as a vital, grounding force in a modern, cluttered world. Through a blend of oil, acrylic, and upcycled industrial materials, I seek to preserve heritage while pushing the boundaries of contemporary abstract design.
