Natey Freedman

I began painting after my retirement from the "New York Firefighters Friend," a retail store I founded. Before that there was a long career in writing and public speaking, both of which came easy to me. My older brother and sister were both excellent artists and that kept me away from exploring my skills in that area. But since retirement about fifteen years ago I have taken Adult Education art classes and have learned much from the instructors and my fellow students, but have drawn the greatest inspiration from the art in the New York's museums. And I learned the most working at my easel at home. Now 79 years old I have been married 51 years to Yael. Proud parent of Noam, Ilan and Talia Freedman...and "Muffet" our three year old black miniature Poodle.
