Luis San José - Visual Artist

For two decades, my life revolved around photography, especially in the world of fashion. I taught classes at modeling agencies, led workshops on lighting and photo editing, and worked as a retoucher for other photographers. My work appeared on the covers of both printed and digital magazines. I always told my students: "Every photographer carries a frustrated painter within."

Then came the pandemic, a turning point in my life. I decided to leave photography behind and pick up the brushes—my true passion. Since then, painting has become my means of expression, my vital need to share emotions and stories with the world. I seek nothing but truth in my art. Every stroke and every color reflect my essence, my inner journey, and my vision of the world.

Through my paintings, I aspire to connect with those who seek authenticity and emotion in art. I hope that each piece resonates with the viewer, echoing my own feelings and experiences.
