Sasha Zenkovich

Born and raised in Belarus, now living and working in Ukraine, I explore the rhythm of urban life through the lens of candid street photography. My work is centered on people — their fleeting interactions, unspoken emotions, and the cultural imprints that shape them.

I embrace the spontaneity of street photography, seeking harmony within chaos. My work is a balance of authenticity and composition, where each frame is an unscripted yet carefully observed moment. I shoot primarily in natural light, allowing reality to shape my artistic vision.

I discovered street photography in 2017, initially as a way to add more movement to my daily routine. What started as a casual hobby quickly evolved into a profound passion. In 2019, my work gained international recognition when I was selected as one of the nine finalists in the Exibart Street Contest, a competition that attracted thousands of submissions from over 100 countries. This acknowledgment highlighted my distinctive approach to street photography and marked my emergence in the global photographic community.
