Maiia Zolotarova is an Ukrainian conceptual figurative artist exploring emotional trauma, senses, and inner transformation. Working primarily with oil on canvas, she uses the human figure and subtle symbolism to depict psychological rupture, vulnerability, and quiet resilience. Her work reflects on pain as a necessary and transformative force — affirming that as long as we feel, we exist.
Maiia is from Kharkiv, Ukraine, and her painting technique belongs to the Kharkiv art school. It's about layering. She studied all that at Polina Kuznetsova studio.
