Julia Poplawska

Julia Popławska (b. 1991) is a Polish screenwriter and director, and a graduate of the University of Arts in Poznań.

Julia honed her craft through intensive training at Warsaw’s prestigious Wajda School, where she completed both the master-level directing program "Studio Prób" (2019–2020) and the foundational "Online Kamera" film directing course (2018–2019). Her academic background includes an MA in Intermedia from the University of Arts in Poznań’s Faculty of Multimedia Communication (2014–2016), preceded by a BA in Art Criticism and Promotion from the same university’s Faculty of Art Education (2011–2014).
