Kateryna Kononova

Hello! My name is Kateryna Kononova, and I manage this profile on behalf of my 8-year-old son, Ivan, a young artist growing up in Kharkiv, Ukraine.

Despite the ongoing war, we have chosen to stay in our hometown — and art has become a powerful way for Ivan to process the world and express joy, resilience, and imagination.

Since 2022, when he was just 5, Ivan has been attending the remarkable Aza-Nizi-Maza art studio. Over the past three years, he has taken part in three collective exhibitions with the studio and held his own solo exhibition in May–July 2025.

Ivan creates with gouache, watercolor, markers, pen, and pencil — whatever helps him bring his vibrant inner world to life. His work is expressive, colorful, and full of movement and feeling.

We are honored to share his art here on Saatchi Art, and grateful for every viewer who sees the world through his colors.
