Andrii Hunka

My name is Andrii Hunka. I am an emerging sculptor from Ukraine working primarily in abstraction and wood. The war in Ukraine became a turning point that urged me to take creative risks and express what lives inside me. Sculpture became a way to reveal how I see and feel the world — raw, uncertain, and urgent. Recent years have taught me that time is not guaranteed, and this urgency drives me to shape and share my vision now, without delay.

I do not have a formal degree in art, but I have extensive hands-on experience working with wood. I studied painting and sculpture for five years at an art school during my secondary education.
