Taekgi Kim

I am a South Korea–based visual artist working with digital photo collages, oil painting, and mixed media. My current practice explores the intersection of organic matter and digital error, often combining natural elements like plants and rocks with artificial textures and distorted color.

Through layering, fragmentation, and visual noise, I aim to evoke a sense of disorientation and fragile presence—oscillating between the natural and the synthetic. My works are composed on both mobile devices and desktop environments, embracing the immediacy and instability of digital creation.

I see image-making as a way of sensing, not just seeing. Each collage is a site of rupture and resonance—a place where perception breaks down and something else begins.
