Indra Laura Lazdina

I'm a Painter, I teach Art-related subjects in a Vocational School for individuals and groups of people of all ages and, you can meet me as a periodic Judge in International Art Competitions.

I'm currently working between Latvia and London, UK

Indra Laura Lazdiņa was born in 1966, in Rīga, Latvia. Indra is an artist-painter and received her Master's in Arts at the Latvian Art Academy.

She is a teacher with 30 years of experience working at a professional art school and a general education school. Indra is a member of the evaluation committees of international competitions of children's and teen’s visual art, a teacher in adult lifelong education and a private teacher to individuals and groups. Indra describes herself as a painter-symbolist.

Indra works between Latvia and London in collaboration with Aija Miranda - her UK based Manager. Aija is a Designer & Creator, working through Spatial and Costume Design in London.


Together, they held a solo exhibition of Indra's work at The Blue Lotus Foundation in Hampstead, London (Fall 2024) and a 4-day exhibition of Indra's work at The Old Nursery, Tottenham, London (June 2025).
The exhibition was showcased at the Latvian National Television.
