Julia Kimkuna

Julia is a self-taught contemporary abstract and conceptual artist based in Israel, whose lifelong passion for painting began in early childhood. Her artistic journey is deeply personal and intuitive. From a young age, she felt that her hand intuitively knew what to do, and the colors had a language of their own. In her youth, Julia took private lessons, but quickly realized that traditional rules were not for her. Her mentor often reprimanded her for preferring to work "by eye" rather than following strict academic canons.
