Kendall Laurent

Kendall Laurent is an emerging artist currently working out of the Northeast Arts District in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. With a background primarily in painting, her work stems from the 2D visual sphere while also dipping into other areas of interest, like installation and photography. She's inspired by the duality of people, memory, and nature, and this shows up in her work with frequent doubling and asymmetric composition. Her work is influenced deeply by nature. Plant-life takes on an anthropomorphic role, persisting alone as a fluid subject or interacting as a companion or adversary to the human subjects in her narrative-based paintings.
