“The artwork I produce is a combination of primary sourced photography, collage, pen and watercolour. I like to experiment with these different mediums constantly discovering new ways to adapt these creative methods into the artwork that I produce whist combining both traditional and contemporary techniques.

Whether I produce a sketch, collage or painting, I always refer to a theme that is reflected throughout each piece of artwork I have created. Each image links to another as a long running narrative developing like a fragmented dream sequence.

I have many influences from films I have studied to books I have read; in particular the Neo Noir film period and 90s acid house art house collections

The Pre-Raphaelite movement has played a very specific role in what I create I often adopt the present day female subjects in the scene to mirror the female model which would have been presented in a Pre-Raphaelite painting, but in contrast, the garish colours and simplistic lines of Pop Art has inspired my works.

Many of the collages are formed from childhood memories and personal occurrences in my life, but also the way in which I view the subject matter of the family and the role which women play in society and the family...
