Andras Gyorkos

I am ZYREN (Andras Gyorkos, b. 1977), a contemporary artist who entered the world of creation with maturity and determination at the age of 48. For three years I engaged in conversations with gallery owners and fellow artists, gradually shaping my vision, until in 2025 I reached the moment when I decided to bring my inner visions to life.

My works are not traditional paintings or sculptures, but material-based, monumental installations. I work with cement, glass, wood, and metal, as well as objects that carry deep history — such as a more than one-hundred-year-old violin that belonged to the Hungarian gypsy violinist János Burka and his father. For me, these are not just materials, but voices and symbols: carriers of the stories of silence, creation, and resonance.

My art is not about decoration, but about revelation. Each of my works is a self-contained universe, confronting the viewer with their own inner strength: with unspoken words, the beginnings of worlds, and the eternal music of existence.
