Olesia Glavatskaia

I work in traditional media, combining watercolor, pastel, ink and acrylic. My art reflects the real world through the prism of my emotion and moods. Each piece is an exploration of individuality-inspired by everything that moves me, from beauty of nature to the rhythm of the city, from the character of animals to the subtle expression of a human face.

My style can be described as a contemporary realism, where observation meet inner feeling.

I was born in Siberia and received both an art and architectural education in Russia and Georgia. Now based in New York City, I continue to explore the world around me through color, texture and emotion. i am member of the Brooklyn Watercolor Society.
