«About my more recent works...

At the moment I am interested in and occupied by space, the spatiality. Not exclusively LxWxH, but the different (space)forms, in itself and to each other. The body or interspace. The space of tension, for example, between color and form. Surface and dimension. Background and foreground. Flowing into each other or sharply separated. In layers or emphasized by shading, etc. And last but not least, we also interact in and with the space.

So I begin more and more to dissolve the space, the figures, forms or to interweave them, sometimes transparent, sometimes separated by a hard break. At first glance, this often results in rather abstract works.

This opens up (to the eye of the viewer) the possibility to search for their own way through the image, to discover - whereby a completely new image can arise as the "originally" thought. A beautiful experience. The journey continues.»
