Giovanni Nikiforos

Giovanni Nikiforos has worked extensively in the Third World for an NGO, focusing on eco-sustainable development.

At the same time, he has always pursued activities such as a nature guide, diving instructor, painting teacher, and popularizer, also creating illustrations for books, posters, educational panels, articles, T-shirts, gadgets, and promotional materials, as well as for environmental protection campaigns.

He has also conducted studies for the creation of nature reserves.

He has collaborated with magazines and newspapers, writing cultural articles.

He has published, in collaboration with other authors, texts and articles on the development of Third World countries.

He has published illustrated books of nursery rhymes for children.

His non-fiction works include GUIDE TO BIRDS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD (with Professor Renato Massa) and GUIDE TO THE WILDLIFE OF THE MEDITERRANEAN.

Among his fiction works, we recall the collection ASYMMETRIC STORIES AND OTHER INCONGUENCIES; the fantasy novel ELIAL, THE SON OF THE TWO PEOPLES; the humorous science fiction novel THE DARK SIDE OF SEAFOOD; the play THE FINAL JUDGMENT; and the poetry collection ADVERSE VERSES.
