I am a Japanese contemporary artist who creates works through the patient repetition of fine, hand-drawn lines.
My signature series, “Suimon,” is inspired by the ripple patterns that appear on the surface of water, but all of my works share the same focus on quiet movement, organic expansion, and subtle shifts in form expressed through intricate linear structures.
In every series, I build each composition line by line, allowing the forms to emerge slowly through patience, rhythm, and attentive observation.
Up close, my works reveal dense textures and micro-patterns, while from a distance they transform into calm, expansive abstractions.
I continue to explore the depth found within silence, natural geometry, and the beauty of gentle, evolving change.
