Sweta Roy Choudhury

I am a self-taught Indian artist and illustrator whose work is rooted in the visual language of Indian heritage, drawing inspiration from folk traditions, temple reliefs, ritual objects, and historical sculpture. My practice focuses on reinterpreting these traditional forms into clean, ornamental compositions designed for contemporary spaces.

Each artwork follows an analog–digital process, beginning with hand drawing and inking on paper, and evolving through digital colour and refinement. This approach allows the warmth and imperfection of traditional mark-making to coexist with modern clarity and precision.
