Tina Alesi

I am a contemporary Artist who lives in Melbourne Australia.
My paintings are an exploration and synthesis into colour, shape, texture, and painting itself.

They are a combination of chance and deliberation, functioning as a diagram of layers, space and colours that create gateways into make-believe worlds, suggesting both a physical and emotional energy in the course of making the work.

Creating space with colour creates an identity and structure, while also expressing my themes of inner worlds left by impressions, culture, and collage work I have previously created. Often the space becomes ambiguous as I challenge my ideas of paint-created space as I reuse and over work the original work.
