Kanako Juno

I am drawn to life and the things that quietly accompany it, and I create my work as a way of gently unraveling these themes through my own perspective.

After stepping away from making art for a time and moving through various experiences, the themes I once approached only vaguely have returned to me, now as something intimate and deeply felt.

I primarily work with assemblage. Like a child carefully collecting stones and fallen branches, I gather small traces of everyday life and compose them into a single form.
