Hiromi Nomurajima

Born and raised in Saitama, Japan. Hiromi passed her childhood years as the daughter of a Buddhist priest in the unusual environment of a Buddhist temple. Members of her family have been engaged in worship at the site for several generations.

After graduating from college in 2000, Hiromi decided to move to New York City for a formative experience. In the years since then, the city has provided her with many challenges and increased awareness of her own identity as a Japanese. Also her encounter with western religions made her reengage with Buddhism. Since then, Hiromi's focuses on "The Divine Power" as her main theme of her work.

Hiromi lives and works in New York City.
