My work explores emotions and atmospheres traversing time and memory and blending with intimate narratives
Between the quasi-figurative and the quasi-
-abstract, between the almost real and the nearly fictional, there is a dialogue among these dimensions and the way they connect to the realm of appearances.
I work slowly. Each moment matters.
I value the distance of the gaze that wanders and settles on details, the accident and the rupture as means to break systematic thinking, to abandon superfluous, and to create space for new ideas and paths.
The studio is my refuge. Wherever I may be, it is always a place of return never of departure.
