Emily Pavacic

Emily Pavacic is a Queens-based visual artist, dancer, and educator whose artistic career has been shaped by her dual passions for the visual arts and dance. Emily earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Adelphi University. Upon graduating, she continued her studies and earned a Masters in Art Education from NYU- the prelude to a 9-year public school-teaching career. Emily also performed part-time with two local dance companies- Moving On, Inc. and New York Dance Theatre. Emily’s artwork, inspired by the human experience and deep connections, is often described as tender and intricate. While Emily no longer teaches for public school, she has maintained a deep interest in the ability for the arts to engage and foster collaboration and community.
