Margarida Nobre

Margarida Nobre is a Portuguese abstract artist based in Lisbon, working with acrylic and mixed media on canvas. Her work explores the relationship between colour, emotion and organic form — balancing creative spontaneity with an underlying sense of design and rhythm.
This project began in 2017, born out of a deep need for free expression alongside her academic work. Since then, it has become an essential part of who she is. Inspired by nature, colour theory and the energy of the creative process, each painting is improvised and one of a kind — a conversation between colours, never repeated.
Beyond painting, Margarida works as a designer, where her work is guided by purpose and problem-solving. In contrast, her studio is where her soul speaks freely.
