Andrea Mariconti

Born in Lodi (Italy) in 1978. I live and work between Milan and Cremona (north of Italy). I work with natural materials (ashes - wax - petroleum - soil ), the only "˜colour' used in my paintings is white.

From 2005 I had conducted worshops and art- laboratories in the social health sector, in Italy, Kosovo and South Africa (orphans, psychiatry, kids with relation problems).

My research is based on the meaning and the deep connections between materials and memory.

I graduated at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera (IT), major in visual arts in 2001 and in scenography in 2006.
