Born January 1971 in Germany.I work as a professional architecture & cityscapes Photographer all over Europe.
Architecture Photography is all about geometry, a precise layout of the line and a strong perspective.
Placing the camera a few inches to the left or right has the effect of a lateral displacement of the image layers in the foreground,
middle-ground and background and is therefore the Photographer’s “secret tool” to transform his/her vision of the scene into a photographic image.
Controlling this in the viewfinder of the camera is one of the preparatory steps.
Multi-Exposures are freezing numerous layers in one single image, giving the scene a dynamic, quite surreal look and feel. Most often Tripple-Exposures, with the single images varying in focal length, rotational angle around one center point or a lateral/vertical displacement are used. All images are created directly in camera - No Postproduction is applied.
