Jeannette Ulrich

Born in Chile, I grew up in Peru. Came to the United States at the age of 20. I lived in New York, travel around the world, lived in Texas and I now live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

My work is about Contemporary Realism sometimes verges in Surrealism. Some of my sources of inspiration are Turner, Rembrandt, Velasquez, Picasso,Richter, David Leffel, and certainly my grandfather Charles Frederick Ulrich.
Since living in Florida for the last 10 years the subtropical weather, sky and ocean have been one of my subjects.
I paint a variety of subjects. I paint what I love and I love what I paint, still lifes,seascapes, fantasy,figures. Sometimes incorporating all of this in one picture.
