I began my college education as a scientist (Biology) and ended as an artist with strong influence from science: I dissected and painted canvases; I created a series of prints on the subject of childrearing with images of an ovum; I made a series of pastels of ascomycetes (refrigerator mold), another of watercolors of "Planets with their Moon" and this latest series called, "Viscosity Series" because of the chemical reaction of food coloring in milk when a dispersant is added. The movement and organic nature of the imagery is always of interest to me.

I have exhibited in numerous competitions and have won awards all over the country. I have had 16 one artist exhibitions, have written a quick-reference guide on women artists from the last 4 centuries as well as op-ed and other articles on the subject of feminist art. I have served on the boards of two arts organizations but am currently enjoying my two granddaughters who live in El Paso, my standup comic daughter in NYC and my retired spouse.
