When I was young all I wanted to do was paint, every birthday and Christmas I
would ask for paints and glitter. I would immerse myself in painting, with time
flying past, loving to use sparkling glitter in most of my work.

As I got older my talents turned towards acting and I attended acting school and
worked within theatre productions for years. More recently I have been a
Wedding photographer, I love taking wedding photos and using my creative eye
to capture one off moments. For weddings you can find my site at


The result of my lifes experiences and love of the theatre is enthused in my art. It
is filled with vibrant colour, depth and movement. I also love different textures
and this is evident in pieces that stand away from the canvas, almost as a living
breathing piece of art. A few years back a couple of my friends died from cancer
and I had an urge to paint to show the emotions that I felt and as a beautiful ode
to their lives. This helped me with the healing process and I would love for my
art to resonate deep into peoples lives by bringing emotions of joy and healing
when looking at my pieces. My art flows from me, it comes from my heart, I am

Biography
November 2012 – Exhibition at the Andrew Kane Holistic Centre, Brighton.
La Vie Gallery 2013 Cherry Tree and Fluttering of Autumn leaves.
2015 - Clarks Fluttering of Autumn Leaves painting went to auction, where all
proceeds were donated to The Teenage Cancer Trust. In June 2015 Vanessa took
part in a exhibition at Chilstone as part of South East Arts. In July 2015 she took
part in a 3 day Exhibition at The Foundry Gallery to raise funds for Lewes FC,
Christmas 2016 she was part of the wonderful Salon Des Source for the open
Houses in Brighton and Hove, showing her controversial Ooh la la collages. Also she showed her work at Taplow Court, Centre for Culture, Maidenhead (SGI Buddhist Centre)
In 2017 she was back again at Salon Des Source showing her mosaics.
In 2017 and 2018 she showed some of her paintings in Lewes FC Art show.
