To Odile Bosch photography means reproducing an image which is not totally complete. Of course, a photograph is a registration of an event that truly happened. Still, the image is a piece of framed reality,a small part in a bigger story. What happens before or after this image, is anybody's guess. That is why a good picture always evokes a question. The answer, what the observer sees in it, is his or her interpretation. This way numerous stories are being told.
Odile Bosch usually takes photographs in sequences. In these sequences a sense of tension is being evoked, bordering on fiction and reality. The human figure is usually the subject, visible or maybe not, in a seemingly serene landscape.
What do we see when we focus on the details of the human physique? Very often certain traits like enthousiasm and individual interests, as well as emotions like joy or tension, are hidden within. By zooming in closely, the context of a human being in his surroundings disappears within its existing reality. This way, a new reality is taking over. For everyone looking at a particular image, the question: "˜what do we see', will be different.

As a child Odile discovers the magical world of photography by looking through the viewfinder of the box camera. From that moment on, a quest for this particular art form is born. She starts experimenting, but later on in her career she is also inspired by other photographers and artists, who give her useful advise and suggestions
